What Determines The Size Of Your Electric Bill?

You and your family are the most important factor in determining the size of your electric bill. So, you should be aware of how much it costs to operate some of the common appliances you find around your house.

To help you better understand the amount of electricity that your appliances consume, we are providing you with a chart indicating the kilowatt-hour use of various appliances for a given amount of time.

The amount of electricity that you use is measured in kilowatt-hours. A kilowatt-hour is 1,000 watts of electricity, which is the same as burning ten 100-watt light bulbs for one hour.

See if you can figure out which appliances you use the most. You may discover ways to cut down on the amount of electricity you consume and save money on your electric bill.
